I was advised by a specialist that the sets on ebay are the same quality as their OEM sets. This was the guy I bought mine from: no affiliation but they were perfectly acceptable.

Mine are very old and must be the originals. On the main pads in front of the rear wheel they were dull and cracked.
I used a hair dryer and a piece of wood to remove the top layer of film. Then after googling used WD40 and a credit card to remove the glue residue. Quite a long job. Is that the way to do it?
Also very good paintwork underneath and I cannot see any marking on those that I have not yet taken off.
Do these protectors actually do any protecting? or can I just leave them off? One rear wheel arch protector has been missing for 25k miles with no marking of the paintwork.
Any opinions welcome. Thanks.
Bob
