Does anyone know of a good bodywork specialist near Ashford.

Anyone used or hear anything about Brooklands Motor Company in Weybridge? (can seem to find a website).

Phil

Possibly try Lynx International, Hastings. They are classic jag specialists but do my Porsches, and local Ferrari guys. John Mayston-Taylor owns it and is very, very proffesional, engineers but they do bodywork for sure. 01424 851277. If you get the chance ask for tour of the premises, fascinating, guaranteed.

Hi Phil

I live near Ashford. Top bodywork man, Shaun John used to work as Porscha Bodyshop in Dartford but moved away into Sussex. Someone may be in contact with him still. He would prepare cars to concours condition and often judged in competitions. Maybe try the Sussex region club.
There are a few classic car body people around here but I know of none with genuine Porsche experience.
Brooklands rings a bell, however. I'll ask around.
I'll watch with interest for other replies.

Mike
