Bolton OPC Parts / Service

I want to share my experiences with you all as i have had some 'typical' dealings with Reading and also Chester OPC but i have been enlightened this week by Bolton OPC.

A speculative call to Bolton 2 weeks ago led to several jobs being done by them this week and i have been very impressed by both the service and price.

Ben Mills is the new service manager and he discussed with me all the jobs i was considering with the car and the best options for price etc and was open to me buying my parts elsewhere and having them fitted / just supplied at the OPC.

I went along for an 'inspection' type visit to check the condition of various parts (brakes etc) and Ben gave me some discounted prices for PCGB membership plus further discounts to be 'competitive'.

In the end I spent quite a while studying my car on the ramps with Rob the technician and Ben and they gave me an honest account of my car (basically that most things i was thinking about didnt need doing !!!) and also informed me of the damage to both air con condensers that was affecting my air con. Quite badly as it turns out!
I was simply given the choices of work and the prices and left to think about it, no hard sell or rush at all, quite the opposite in fact. Great service for free methinks.

In the end i got the headlight switch, one condenser, dryer cannister, re gas and fitting done under warranty, i paid for one condenser (fitted almost for free, and at a great price!), front discs and pads, touch up pen, litronics side light bulb (fitted free), litronic washer jet lense (fitted free) and brake fluid change for £865. Bargain i reckon. Included in the time allocated for the jobs the technician also checked my roof alignment and lubricated the joints for free!!

They lent me a new Boxster S for a couple of days and my car was cleaned in and out (tyres too!) upon return.

If you are due any servicing or parts needed etc dont hesitate to call them, I am well impressed.

Thanks Bolton!!
