I am currently running 17 inch Cup 1's on my 944T - M030 and am considering going to 18's (I have them but need to get tyres - or not!!!).

In my mind there is a big difference in ride qualty between the standard forged D90's which I have kept and the 17's on now.

Has anyone gone from 17's to 18's? Am I going to lose my fillings?

Why then would you risk altering the ride any further with 18" ?

I had 18's for a long time and they were far from horrible, though I took them off my cab as it couldn't really cope. The 17s are a better size, but if you have to go bling then the 18's are fine. With the 18s on my Turbo it felt just like it did on 17s with track tyres (stiffer sidewalls).
