Hey all,,

In conjunction with PCGB and Porsche Glasgow we are looking for cars to display on both the 7th / 8th September at Boness Hill Climb

Entry will be free to anyone displaying their car but you need to be at the gate for 9am and I need name / car details to register you..

You can go either sat/sun or both if you like,

Please email me at R1@porschelclubgb.com stating, day/name/car model

There is space for about 40 cars so there is plenty of room,

I will circulate on email list also with further details/programme of event etc.

regards
Scott.

My email also bounced to the r1 address but forwarded to your hotmail one.

Was a good day and the weather was very kind.

Kenny must have missed that you changed to the Boxster Spyder.

I think I have deleted the returned email but will send to both addresses again and see what happens

I was well impressed with Boness Hill Climb yesterday and weather stayed good for most of the day. Only thing was that I felt more of an effort could have been made by OPC Glasgow and Edin (I believe they were one of the main sponsers) Display area was in prime position in front of the museum but nothing there apart from a couple of banners and a few cars. Only my opinion. They did of course provide the 991 as the course car.

Guys,
regarding bounced e-mails I think there's a typo in the address given in the first post on this topic.
Cheers,
Paul

Good spot Paul didn't see the extra l in the addres.

Agree with Kenny bit dissapointed with the Porsche display at Bo'ness but to be fair to the OPC's they were expecting 20 cars and only 8 turned up including Paul & Loraine who travelled 3hrs to be there.

Folks,
a selection of photos from Sunday 8th Sept now on line at www.barlow.org.uk
Feel free to share the link if you think other folk might be interested.

Paul

As a visiting competitor (in the yellow Porsche 914/6) I was extremely impressed by this event. It was very well run, with a delightful atmosphere and great company. There can't be many OPC Managers who not only know what a 912 and a 914 are, but come out to play in a self-prepared 912, and currently restoring a 914...................
I'm sorry that I didn't get time to have a look around the display cars, but we were kept very busy in the competition car paddock!
We will definitely be back, even though it was an 866 mile round trip[8|], plus a bit more for visiting the Wallace Memorial and the Falkirk Wheel on Monday..........

Cheers!
