Hi,

I have been asked to enquire as to whether any members have even seen a silver version of the Porsche bonnet badge, and if so where they can be purchased from. [8|]

Apparently one was seen at Eynsham last year.

Thanks in advance.

Google is your friend. A quick Google revealed at least a couple of places in the US selling them - ranging from $110 - $125. P-Cars seems the cheapest here. Bit of a risk having $100+ worth sat on the bonnet for some scrote to remove!!!

Dave

Hi Jason

There are normaly badges available on eBay as well http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsche-Silver-Hood-Crest-Badge-NO-cheap-imitation_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33643QQihZ003QQitemZ130166499399QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD2V and I was thinking of purchasing one myself, if any one wants to set up a group buy to save on postage then I will be in.

I believe the history of these is that they were originally produced by TechArt under licence from Porsche, not sure of the provenance of those still for sale.

Kevin,

It is a bit of a long story ..... but I am not actually wanting one for my car. I am investigating for a friend who wishes to purchase one for someone else as a surprise gift. This is to be purchased in the very near future, so not sure of the logistics of a group buy in this instance.

However, if you are set on one, then maybe I can see about having 2 delivered and you can share the postage. Please email me separately.

Regards, Jason

Check out these http://www.eu-decals.com:80/

I have had a number of bits from Lefteris in the past, good quality and not stupid prices. I got some Stuttgart Crest badges from him that go into the twelve stars of the EU logo on number plates. He has some very good ideas for christmas stocking fillers as well.

Cheers
