Hi,
How do u change the badge. I looked under the bonnet, and there was a metal bracket covering the entrance to the badge.
I dont remember that there on my 2.7 911.

thanks
Amolak

Have a look at this from Type 911 - doesn't tell you how to change it but at least it's a picture of a new badge with the gasket and associated nuts so you'll know what you're dealing with

i found the best way to get the old badge off was to use a couple of long electrical cable ties. push them under the rubber seal of the old badge, one at the top and one at the bottom, loop them back on themselves, and then gently and evenly pull the badge off. the new badge goes on easy enough with a small (1/4" socket and extension) over the nut, into the recess in the bonnet. they just push on (got rubber inserts).

easy peasy lemon squeezy

best regards

Hi Mark,

This is off topic but the pic of your car in your avatar looks totally fab. [:)] What colour is that? The depth shine is fantastic... is it a recent respray or have you mastered the zen of Zymol application???
