Bonnet hinges changed !

Hi All :)

Decide to change my bonnet hinges today as my bonnet had to be wiggled from side to side for about 20 seconds before it would go up in air....

Got some second hand hinges from 928sRUS in the US...

Fitted them....now bonnet goes up extremely smoothly....absolutely perfectly.....with one slight problem.......it come back down just as smoothly in around 1 second lol....

Turns out the only thing that was holding it up was the worn hinges....the gas rams were obviously totally worn out.....so now will replace with new rams at $20 each from same company :)

Ah well...in a few years I will probably have replaced everything lol [:D]
