Bonnet open/closed switch

Where can I find the micro switch that tells the car the bonnet is closed?

I want to run the recommended diagnosis test on my battery to see what is draining it but I want to do this with the alarm on to get the genuine state of the car when I typically leave it. So I need to trick the car into thinking to bonnet is closed while I look at the multimeter on the battery and fiddle with the fuses.

But I can't find a switch that must be there somewhere... expecting to be proved blind....[:-]

Just press the bonnet catch down with the bonnet open. The light will go out and the car will think the bonnet is shut.

Use the normal lever to release it when you are finished.
