bonnet popping open

Hi

I have a 997 Turbo coming home this week 56 plate 7K+ miles on the clock its having a left foot throttle fit by a mobility company as I write but the delivery drive reported that the bonnet keep popping open on his way to the mobility workshop if this a problem on the 997 seems strange to me that a car with 7000 miles on the clock this fault has not been fixed by now any advise or info would be appreciated.

I have searched past posts but can only find this on 912's

There were reports of the keyfob being over sensitive, a fix is available (timed press) from the OPC...

Nick,
I had a similar problem, but as Gary has suggested, your OPC can re-programme the bonnet release so that it needs a 3 second press on the key fob to open it. This sorted it for me.[:D]

Thanks for the prompt replies I'll speak to the suppling OPC dealer Monday and have them increase the time on the key fob, they thought it would be the rubber grommets that would need adjusting I'm sure this would have been done by now if it was an adjustment needed your relpy seems more likely.

If anyone esle has any idea's let me know I want to cover all possibilities before I take delivery of the car as I am 70 miles from the dealer.
