Best to get them from Porsche? or are there any others that people have used?
Check out the prices. I got mine from Bert Gear, others have used all sorts of suppliers. If Exeter do them cheapest then go with them. Have to say that mine only lasted about 2 years before giving up, particularly in colder weather.
Be careful fitting them. Compress the struts, don't force the bonnet open as it will crack the windscreen nicely. [

Ah thanks for the tip...
So - I should be ok tho if I change one at a time tho - as the other will hold the bonnet fully opening? (or am i missing the point?)
Cheers

the bonnet will flex so it is not that simple. Best to do it with 2 people, one to hold the bonnet and the other to compress the strut. I got mine from Bert Gear too.

Bonnet is the same. When checking the windscreen filler the other day it didn't really stay open. And yet I'd say the struts are fine and have no plans to replace them.
Don't make snap judgements about replacing parts like this in the middle of ... err ... a cold snap!
Oli.
