As it was a wet afternoon finally got around to putting on the newly painted bonnet I had vents put in. Not sure yet if i like it but if it functions as it should it will be staying on.

Looking very neat and tidy!

Where did you get the vents done? I looked into something similar but couldn't find anywhere.

Thanks for the replies. Vents were punched in by Mouland and Yates next to Paultons Park in Romsey. They can punch in any size you want or hand form vents to your design. They are not cheap being a specialist coach builder but I could not find anyone else that could do the 10" vents in the centre of bonnet. Failing that they offered to make me an aluminium bonnet to my design but I did not bother to get a price !

I like those - very nicely done
The ones on the leading edge are right in the low pressure area aren't they? so should be effective

Interesting sgl, can only help the cooling process and I'm going to guess you will have reduced road spray on the windscreen this time of year. I hope the behaviour of rain water is not an issue when parked.
10 out of 10 for getting a nice job done.
thanks for posting.

Thank you for your kind comments.
George it is more a track biased car so will not be left out in the rain to much. Just need to get out and use it more now, running in a 3 litre turbo before slotting in the 16 valve turbo (top photo) next spring.
