Pateince young Glasshopper!![:)]

You gotta wait until they open up the bookings on their website......

thank you oh wise one...thought i had been defeated by technology again.

what was the cost last year?

3 day package - EUR 997 ;
4 day package - EUR 1200

They ran the event Thurs through to Sun last year, for 2009 it is Fri to Sun. Food included for drivers on respective days or you can purchase a wristband to get access to food for the days you are not driving. Well worth it as food is good.

Obviously more expensive this year given the ROE but it is a great event. 2008 first year for me, well and truly converted.

thanks Ben - appreciate the detailed ersponse

Mel - theres a recession on for some of us...ad i've booked to go for 2 days in july as well....

Hi Matt , the PCF days are like no other . If you can push the boat out then you should do it while you still can. As for being already booked in on a later Spa trackday just resign yourself to enjoying the RS at Spa , thats what you bought it for [:D]

But no indication as to how to book or the cost - unless I'm being really dumb (possible)!

Anyone who went last year care to elaborate?

well happylarry , as has been pointed out elsewhere , at time of posting the PCF website not updated with the booking bit yet.......will probably occur in next couple of weeks....patience [;)]

Larry,

should have been clearer....prices I mentioned are the figures from last year. I've got no idea what the prices will be for 2009, so purely supposition in relation to what they charged for the three days in 2008. If you are paying in GBP then it will obviously be more expensive in 2009 than 2008 if the Euro price remains the same.

Looking back at my application for 2008, I got receipt and confirmation on 2nd Feb so release of prices and website application forms must be imminent

Is it up yet?

Thought I'd be asking you tonite!![:D]

And in answer to your question -nope...still need five more bodies for the garage though......see sep thread.

Hi lads, at the risk of hijacking the thread slightly, I am organising a weekend away for our region (Northeast) to the 'Ring' whilst this event is on and I'm really tempted to visit Spa first on the friday/saturday, could any of you recommend some good accommodation for the Friday night.

I'd happily camp but the ladies are coming as well and don't do tents so we need a B & B or hotel, nothing flash [;)]

Thanks

Radison is the nicest by far, if you bringing partners. Key advantage is that it is connected to the Spa at the top of the hill, so the Girls can spend the day in the Spa (of Spas!) whilst you spend the day at the circuit. If you want cheaper friendlier accomodation, and want to be in walking (20mins) distance of the circuit. Handy to let girls without transport have a lie in, and walk down to circuit later, then you cant beat Le Relais in Francochamps.

Remember Francochamps is much closer to the circuit, but if you are towing with anything over a range-rover size you may have to go right around the back anyway. Depending whether they have the F1 entrance open at La Source (dont know what they do for trackdays).

Oh, tip number 2, if towing the motorway route between spa and the ring is much quicker, if not towing, then cut across the mountains much more entertaining.

You may struggle to get accom now....

La Source direct now blocked -they take you along the far side of the F1 start line, then under the track.

There is also truck size access from the old Blanchimont -gives a chance to drive the old track...

This treat is often overlooked by visitors ... massive long sweeeping straits ... just imagine 200MPH plus with just trees to stop you ....[:-]
