Boot Rack for 2008 Boxster

We are off on holiday soon and the golf clubs go and some luggage gets left at home, or vice versa. As we are off to Lytham St Annes I guess it might have to be some luggage.

Does anyone have experience of using a boot rack for a lightweight case please?
If so, a manufacturer name would be useful too. My thanks in advance.
David.

P.S. I have searched the Forum history and have been unable to find any mention of a boot rack.

Not seen a boot rack in term of a fixed rigid device for the 987 and the ones available for the 986 dont fit as the boot sizes are different. The only thing I've seen is a rubber mat and nylon straps that hold a lightweight bag on the boot. Not exactly the most elegant or secure but better than nothing I suppose. The 986 roof transport system wont fit the 987 either as there are no fixing holes on the 987 and the roof profiles are different anyway. There are bespoke luggage sets available for the boxster / 911 from a company based in germany called roadsterbag. I've got one of these sets and its very good the rear suitcase is cheese wedge shaped to follow the angle of the boot. Look on E bay for the seller.

Bertie,
I can't remember, in my haste, whether I replied to thank you.
Thank you for your help and information, sorry for any delay.

Maybe too late now, but assuming only one golf bag, then..

remove woods and put these in first in rrear boot, across the back of the rear light clusters.
then fit golf carry bag in same area
leaves space between bag and bulkhead for a couple of small bags/rucksacks

Front boot - two roller cases slightly bigger than hand luggage and two soft bags.

If you need two golf bags then the only option is probably two small 'moon' bags and half a set of club each :(

Try a couple of titleist pencil bags, I can get two sets of clubs in the boot without even taking the drivers out and as its a boxster there still plenty of room in the front for your luggage
