Boot racks

Now that winter is here and the lid is staying up I have realised how little space there is in the S2 cabriolet and have been looking around for a boot rack - preferably one that will also take skis. Does anyone know where to look or has anyone got one they no longer need?

Take a look at the Thule website. I've seen 944 roofbars on there with all the usual accessories.

I have had a complete set of 17" wheels with tyres in a cab. Also a complete set of 944 Turbo coupe seats. Not at the same time of course [:D][FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]I've never seen a boot rack, but given how flat the boot is I would imagine a suitably dimensioned universal one would fit.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

I believe that Porsche themselves make one to go on the back of the Boxster if you're feeling a little flush.[:D] Alternatively you do see lots of Mazda MX5's with something similar. Maybe a browse of a Mazda forum will yield some ideas?

Thanks for all the suggestions, especially the one regarding the MX5. For anyone that is thinking of getting one the MX5 racks do indeed fit and I got mine from www.autolinkuk.co.uk for just £69. It is a quality item made of aluminium with wooden slats. Looks great.

Can we have a picture please.
There's some of these from chrome boot racks from Autolink on ebay at the moment fitted to an mx-5 and the ad states they will fit 944 convertibles - item number 4603248468.
I think they look very nice - tempted to fit one to mine but "her indoors" doesn't like them.
