boring child seat question

Now I am in the baby owners club as well as the 912 club I want to combine the two hobbies.

Does anyone know where I can get a baby seat to go in the back of my car? Has to be stylish of course[:)]

Chris, I think I am the only 912 owner to do a track day with child seat at Goodwood, minus my daughter of course.
I had to have a rear 3 point belt fitted, they only need to drill one hole in the rear shelf and use the existing bolts for the other two on a 68. The choice of seats is very restrictive due to the width. We got a Klippan seat, not sure if they still make the exact one, but it lasts till about 25kg so good longevity. I went to Quickfit here as they did the fitting of belt and seat. The only downside due to the lack of space is its a real bugger to take out and refit, hence my reluctance to take it out at Goodwood.
Not worth skimping on this, get expert help!
Give us a bell if you want to talk it through...

oh dear same here - a sprogg and 912 owner lol - will also need to find appropriate seat and fit - I agree with going to someone in the know :) whomever that is ??? - Quickfit ?????? in the know .... I am surprised !

It is NOT the Quickfit highstreet tyre place repeat NOT!

They are a specialist seatbelt/safety company in Stanmore Middlesex.

Just to avoid confusion

I had the same dilema two years ago, in that I needed to travel safely in my 3.2 Carrera with my family including my new born son and 3 year old daughter.

I bought a Porsche zoom for my daughter and this fits snugly in the back seat and requires a 3 point belt.

I took the car to Quickfit in Stanmore and had them extend the front passenger belt so that it went around a rear facing baby seat.

Later I bought a Britax Freeway forward facing childseat to fit in the back and this came with a separate lap belt. The seat can fit with a normal 3 point belt but in the back of the 911 it requires the separate belt to secure the seat. The seat has its own belts for the child.

Anyway, my son is over 2 years old now so I am going to purchase another Zoom seat.
If anyone wants the old Britax then it is free to anyone who wants to pick it up from mid-Bedfordshire.

Let me know if you have any questions or need photos.

Thanks for the replys. I wanted to know that it was fairly easily possible, which it appears that it is.

As my sprog is a mere 11 days old at the moment I will leave it to the spring to get this sorted.

Thanks all
