Bosch 3 bar FPR Euro Car Parts

Just thought I'd post this up to help any other breathed-on 951 owners who need a new fuel pressure regulator, as after a bit of cross-referencing I managed to get a new Bosch one from Euro Car Parts for around £60. The part number is 430110070.

This reminds me that I have a barely used one together with a Lindsey Racing MBC that I need to list in the For Sale section!

You only ever post on here when you want to sell something :ROFLMAO:

Please don't fit a 3bar fpr to an otherwise standard car thinking it will be better because it is 3 instead of 2.5 so it must be better. I bought a car like this once and it took me ages to figure out what was wrong with it. It felt like it went like a scalded cat, but in fact only felt like that because it didn’t idle right, and wouldn’t pull away without los of revs. It felt like it was fast... But actually, it wasn’t. Just used a heap more fuel (and probably washed the bores out too).

Hence why I said "breathed-on" in my original post...

I've bought a new one as when I first fitted my 951Max chips I fitted a used one off an e30 which I suspect is iffy, hence I've bought a new one. But yes, you've got to be a reet numpty to fit one to an otherwise standard car. They run rich enough as it is!!
