Bose amplifier

Hi, I have a 996 C4S on an 03 plate that has a malfunctioning Bose external amplifier. Can anybody advise me where I could get it repaired? Or replaced with an used unit? I have been advised by a recognised Porsche specialist that Bose want over £400 + vat for a new unit that seems a bit steep just to play some CD's. The amp No: 996 654 33303 Thanks for reading this and I'm hoping you can help. Cheers Steve Wade

What exactly is the problem? If it is sporadic sound failure, there is a software update to fix that.

If the amp is dead, I would suggest getting a used replacement. Try http://www.boxsterbits.co.uk . He is a genuinely helpful chap, and always seems to have the amps in stock, even when they aren't shown on his site. Please mention my name if you contact him.

Many thanks for your prompt reply and apologies for my delayed one. I didn't want to reply until I had news. Excellent news...
Boxsterbits had exactly what I wanted and it works...... happy days. At the cost of £180.00 inc delivery.
