Bose Mod

The Bose mod Nick_USA and I were talking about is only for the subwoofer on the Cayman. It can be very 'boomy' and a bit 'muddy' in the mid range, and stuffing it with acoustic polyester wadding (or an old pillow filling!) helps give it a clearer sound. I did it at the weekend, and there is a distinct improvement.

Another modification Richard?? :)

Pls can we have a running report of all the mods you've done since you purchased your lovely car. Also I'd love to see pics of the cruise control stalk that you've had retro fitted.

Thx
Roy

Oh I know. It's a slippery slope.

So far, it has just been programming modifications, map update, the Bose mod, cruise, and a camera detector.

Here's the cruise stalk - just as per factory:

Do you think this will work on the Bose subwoofer in a 996 Turbo? My other alternative is turning the stereo off it's that bad. Funny that the various Bose kit I have in the house is excellent.
