In brief - we are at 60 vehicles so far . A real mix of everything : Ferrari , Aston , Porsche, Bentley etc . A few heavy weight vintage , concours classics, bikes, vintage commercials and the Colin McRae shell Gemini cosworth.....even a vintage ice cream van ( will be selling cones !)

If youre free next saturday (and can't enter your car) please support a fellow PCGB member and pop along . It's a free , it's a family day, it's all happening in Bothwell ( Lanarkshire ) G71 8PJ .

There are 21 scarecrow events on in the village that day - one of which if the vehicle display so your guaranteed an action packed day out ,

See you there :)

Regards

Barry

I'm going, but I'll be struggling to get there on time as it is [:D] ... but see you there anyway!

I'm going, where were you thinking for meeting up?
McD's or F&B's at top of Expressway or Strathclyde Park, brewers Fayre type place.

Alan.

We will meet at Toby Carvery at Strathclyde Park, just off Raith Interchange at 9am for Breakfast, then head to Bothwell for 10am.

See you there,

Alan.

Great day at the Bothwell Festival of Transport today, thanks Barry. Great wee event, wide selection of cars, lots of folk to chat to, great weather. However I couldn't help but notice that one car away from me in the line was a Ferrari 250 Lusso, apparently valued at £850,000. Bit of a case of the "sublime to the ridiculous" ... but which way round?

My wee 924 was a joy today, it was going like a bird, and as it is only worth a few grand I could be quite relaxed about it being surrounded by kids with ice creams and sticky fingers. How relaxed would I have been if I owned the nearly million quid Fezza? Watching folk pawing at it, trying to get through the busy traffic after the show? It may be a helluva car, but it must also be a helluva worry. Makes you think!

Yes it was a great day with some interesting cars.
Any guesses how much the Aston would be worth?
Also had a tutorial on Inheritence tax on cars, must speak to my Dad about his Allegro.......to make sure he leaves it to my Brother.

Alan.

Excellent day out .....nice display of Porsches .Some beautiful cars on display Well done Barry for pulling it altogether no easy task ...I know !!

Guys your support yesterday was hugely appreciated, I cant thank you enough for making the day as special as it was - it was my first stab at arranging a car event so a HUGE thanks once again to you all for your support. My reputation was on the line and thankfully the months of planning paid off !

I was sooooo busy all day and my feet never really touched the ground so much so that I didn't have time to relax and take any pics but I understand that Petrolcraig from PH took quite a few (??) - Ill post them up if he sends on.

Many thanks once again for supporting my event .......... new year ????? Who knows ???

Best regards

Barry

( Brian give me a buzz about Porsche in the glen 2014 - Ill arrange some sunshine for you !! )
