Hi all, A few weeks ago i posted on the forum looking for vintage cars for display at Bothwell Scarecrow Festival on Saturday Sept 14th. The idea of 'vintage' vehicles was made by the committee , however as this is 'my baby 'within the festival calendar I've managed to change course slightly and broadened the criteria to allow a far wider cross section of interesting vehicles . So we now have a wide selection of old and new , large and small .

With permission I've asked Scott Laurie if I can invite PCGB members along and he is going to include this event on the PCGB.

I'm asking PCGB members to please feel free to put their name down and show off your pride and joy on the day and support a fellow PCGB member :)

The Bothwell Scarecrow Festival is a huge harvest celebration within the village with 41 events from 11th-15th that attracts 1000's of people from around lanarkshire and beyond . The festival is very much a family event and really cements the community spirit within the village - I'd really appreciate your attendance here . ( it's in the new Bothwell Primary car park which is ideal for an event like this ) . There will also be events inside the school on that day so there will be a good buzz about the place .

This event isn't just restricted to Porsche cars - so if you have something interesting from out with the Porsche stable please feel free to join. This years website is under construction with the new updates - www.bothwellscarecrowfestival.co.uk

Please feel free to post here ( including your email address ) if you'd like to attend or text me on 07917248010

From one to another Id really appreciate all the help I can get with this one !

Many thanks & regards , Barry Clarkson

Sounds good Barry, I will bring my 944 along if that suits. Helen could bring the Boxster also if required.

So Saturday September 14th at Bothwell Primary School about 10am ish - feel free to spread the word .www.bothwellscarecrowfestival.co.uk
