I fitted these last year too.

I like them, brings dash pod upto date slightly [:D]

I bought a set of these quite a while ago, but have always held off because of the potential for them being labelled with the dreaded "C" word, but must say that looks really good to me. Think I may well dust them off and get them fitted.

Did you buythe glue in type or like my the click in type?

Very easy to fit. Must be as even I managed it [:)]

Mine were suposed to be slot in and bend the backs over and that wasnt possible in fitting so I used glue(very carefully).
Ive looked at these before and when I saw a recent picture fitted I compared with mine and think they make the facia more stylish without being too c.[:)]

I dont know, but IIRC Nick removed his and polished it quite successfully with a product designed for refurbing plastic rear windows on cabriolets

Anyone know if the plastic dashboard screen that covers the instuments can be replaced? is the part number on PET?

Thanks !

Me too, as mine's been polished with sandpaper at some time in it's past. []

I'll try the cab window cleaner, good idea.

Youll get an even better result if you find (Google) some instructions for polishing hesalite watch crystals. You can almost always make them come up looking like new.

Blimey! I rely on you guys to do the "google" things for me...[&:]

As far as polishing goes, I've used 'Xerapol' widely available on Fleabay, for the last few years - works extremely well on acyrlic and some other plastics. Have used it on my binnacle cover, but perhaps these pics on a Supra rear conversion show a before and after better...

Regards the dial rings, I'd be up for those - just a nice little lift without going as far as the whole silver trim thing

From memory, I think they are the stick in type which was another reason why I had pause for thought about fitting them. Where can you buy the click in examples ?

Hi

I got mine from a German website.

The quality is great, where VERY easy to fit, simply push and they click in place.
They were very quick to deliver and at the time they cost me £24 inc postage.

Nice one Lee, quality looks great and price is a whole lot cheaper than Porscheshop [8|]

Good stocking filler - note to show SWMBO

Hey the German site is excellant!

Even some for my E class.

Agree they "lift" the look without going to over the top!!

HELP...........

WHY CAN'T I SEE A UK DELIVERY???

Hi James,

No the front screen is not available on its own, you can however buy the empty pod and install your own dials etc.

Cost from OPC £218.95 less PCGB discount, part no. 944-641-941-01

Maybe some of the polish as suggested is the way to go

Cheers

Andy

I have to be honest and say that Im not a fan of these (nor any product designed to make a car look 'newer' or 'more up to date': they arent new or up to date, after all). The 924 parts do appear to improve the original instruments appearance though, by covering the original bezel, which is frequently unsightly.
