Hello all. I've finished the 993 now and am considering a more involved build project. Any early 2.2/ 2.4 T/E/S!? junkers hiding an anyone's garage that you need shut of? No Targas though thanks... any condition as I am after something to keep me from roaming the streets for a while.
mik.

sorry i sold all my early 911 bits at Husbourne Crawley.

theres a autojumble at Cornbury house tomorrow (2nd Dec) might be worth a visit

I've had this LHD/sunroof shell around for a while with a RHD bulkhead and solid roof, but never got around to starting it. Would need new rear quarters and a lot of metalwork just to get a basic tub. Definately not worthwhile if you're paying someone to do it...but as a labour of love maybe just about viable. I got it about 7years ago to build an ultralight shell using this tub with everything else either carbon or fresh air, but have just never got around to starting it. There are no other bits on offer as I was going to use the running gear from my . If you're interested in a really major project drop me a mail and I can send you a picture!

Doing the RHD bulkhead is not that difficult, and I did mine using real Porsche dash panels which had been cut and welded in the factory to hand them. I cut and swopped my real bulkhead over retaining the chassis plate in the right place. All in all took just a week to cut and weld.

Hardest part is the steering shaft 'tunnel' and clearing the clutch pedal!
A new roof is simple and I would love to change my cloth sunroof for a tin one.
