HI, No BoXa is still up and going as strong as ever, I believe some people were having DNS type issues and this is ongoing. Some people found that it was blocked due to work infrastructure restrictions. Have you tried from home and work?

Yes it is still there: [link=http://www.boxa.net/forum/]http://www.boxa.net/forum/[/link] With regards to your work restrictions ..... an iPhone maybe your new friend.

if you go into cmd prompt.. start>run>[type cmd and click run] you should get a black window where you can type. Then type tracert boxa.net (then press enter) on the last result do you get boxa.net [208.67.212.53]

definately a DNS type issue. Not sure what to suggest other than speaking to your IT dept.. I suppose you could try adding a host entry to your host file. Does it fail on the first step or right at the end etc? You should have several hops before it gets to the target. If it fails on the first try this. C:WindowsSystem32Driversetc there is a file called hosts, add 208.67.212.53 boxa.net see if it works but I am not sure it will.. it's just a guess and a test really.

Sadly it didn't seem to work I also put the site's IP address into my browser, but it came back with a message from IPS Hosting, saying the site is not up yet. Is it the correct IP address?

If I put the IP in I get this - I guess this is what you mean? It's a multi-homed ISP I suspect.. the root folder won't be for BoXa. I think there are issues with either DNS for the ISP you are using or there are restrictions somewhere. Where does it fail on the tracert? IPS Shared Hosting Server Welcome to IPS Hosting! Hello! I can view Boxa.net fine but I know that others have experienced problems. It is a shame because it's a great site.

I`m struggling as well, both at work and at home. Real shame `cos its a good site. It`s just really hardwork, even when you are online. Martyn
