Boxster - 1 I like!

Was looking at it on the Porsche site earlier following a link from FB. Very sexy.

No radio, no AC, upped rev limit, +10 bhp and nice retro styling, perhaps the first convertible I have really fancied.....except there is that thought in the back of my mind that they might do the same with Cayman [8D].

Didn't see what the price was though. If it the recent 911 retro is anything to go by the Boxster will be at a significant premium which seems strange.....pay more for having things removed?

Looks good, but in the last pic with the roof up the roof looks a little odd.
Also lose the 'porsche' down the side.

Yes I saw that and was rather smitten myself. Apparently price starts at £44k which is more than the standard S of course but in this case less is certainly more. [8D]

Lovely. I've also seen a normal Boxster with 996 GT3 mk 1 body kit on - all but the rear wing, so front PU, side skirts, brakes and wheels. It was a great looking car, but unfortunately was yellow. Not a fan of yellow cars, but made the Boxster look a bit meatier and aggressive than normal.

Its got the Cayman S engine in it, and likely a production small run, so its actually "reasonable" value. I bet they'll be very rare in the UK.
