Hi, I have a Boxster 2.7 981. The rear tyres are wearing on the outer edge. I would like to get the wheel alignment checked and corrected. Where would members recommend as the best place to go for Porsche wheel alignment in the West Midlands?

Hi Neil

Try Centre Gravity in Atherstone, Warwickshire - they are excellent and well known within Porsche Club

Cheers, Graham

CG have a sky-high positive reputation, and the car will be better than factory I think.

I had my 987.2 re-aligned by Zuffenhaus about 4 years ago after harsh inner tyre wear was pointed out at a service by them.
It was a fraction of the CG cost.

The car was great after and zero uneven tyre wear on any corner.

Settings used were standard Porsche geometry, car is bog standard barr 19" rims.

Zuffenhaus are close to Solihull in the West Midlands.
No affiliation, just happy with them.

depends what you want to pay, you can get a great geo done for £85+ VAT at Northamton motorsport. it's my goto for checks and small tweaks, they will do it in an hour or so.
mine took 1.5 hours but then only charged me for 1 hour.
I did this on my 718 GTS as it's not a race or track car. I had oem plus with a tad more front neg camber all for £85 + VAT.

C of G is great I use them a lot, but you will be paying £430+ and spend 1/2 a day there for a geo which in your case might not be worth it if you just want oem setting back on the car.
