Hi all,
Well after nearly 8 years of jap turbo power in the shape of Mitsu Evos im now looking at getting something a bit more durable [:D] ...i test drove a nice (but wrong colour for me) 2001 3.2s last week and was pleasantly suprised :) looks like ive found the next model of car for me.
Ive got a budget of 10-11k so looking at 986 models and have been trawling through all the usual places of sale, also the minefield of options on these cars!.... ideally im after a silver or grey model with black sports option leather seats, MO30 chassis would be nice as i plan the odd trackday and turbo wheels i think i like best, will just have to see what i can turn up [:D]

Cheers

MO30 is unusual on a Boxster - unless you look at the 2004 550 Anniversary which all have it. But I doubt (hope) you wouldn't find one for your asking price. I personally find the sports suspension rather harsh.

Yes ive only seen a handful of earlier cars advertised with it, usually at a premium too!... I have not tried a car with it yet but wouldnt want anything too harsh so might not be an option i need now you say that, guess i need to try it first [:)]

That you could find out first hand what the MO30 suspension feels like. PM me with a phone number if that sounds like a plan.

OK finally yesterday i picked up my boxster [8D] got a nice tidy 38k mile 3.2s on a 51 plate in artic silver/black hood & leather, also most of the options i wanted like 18" turbo wheels, Bose, MO30 suspension, clear lights etc....only thing i didnt get was Xenons, but never mind as the lights are still 5000% better than Evo ones were!

Started making up some of our Carbotech XP8 pads today to get it stopping properley [:D]

Cheers
