Boxster 3.2S sidelight query

I have a 2005 3.2 Boxster 987.
Regrettably I hit a low flying pheasant which has written off the offside sidelight bulb - though fortunately nothing else!
I have attempted to undo the 2 screws securing the light fitting but one has rusted in and I can't shift it! Any ideas?
Secondly, is it worth considering tungsten or LED bulbs as a replacement, and these lights are rather dim? I heard that the LED ones can interfere with the lighting management system, but I'm not sure.

I would try soaking the offending screw with penetrating lubrication something like WD 40 or the likes for a day or two use a really good screw driver it may loosen

if not it may have to be carefully drilled out as a last resort.

LED canbus bulbs should be fine not the cheap ones.

good luck [:D]
