Hi all the 3rd time trying to post joined club today. I have just purchas a 2000 Boxster 3.2 Tiptronic from a PC member it 1 owner 37,500 mile and in great conditio. My problem is the reversing lights do not work , checked bulbs and fuse all ok presume the switch is the problem, called so called experts no one can say if switch is on gearbox or selector, l found a pic of switch on Gearbox but that was a Manual box. Also the price of switch between £30. an £250. Any help please thank you.

Suggest just call your nearest OPC and ask them. If you give them your VIN they'll have the responsibility of identifying the right part for your particular car, which will remove any risk. You'll get 10% off parts as a club member and most will post items to you. And the cost will probably be less than from other suppliers. Worth a phone call to check.
