Boxster 986 Wind Deflector Scratches

Hi I hope someone can help me. I inherited a badly scratched clear plastic wind deflector when I purchased my Boxster and I need advice on how to remove those scratches. You can feel some of the scratches with your fingernail so they are quite deep. I have tried T-cut, and Brasso but only briefly so I will give them another go. Any past experiences will be greatly received. Alternatively where can I buy a new one other than the main dealer.

If the scratches are very deep - forget it.

Meguiars ScratchX is worth a go (Halfords around £8.00)

Failing that I have a good condition spare that's un-needed (car came with two!)...drop me a mail

I've just bought some scratch x for the swirls on my black paintwork ( I think you recommened it on another post) so i'll give it a go. how much are you after for the Deflector, in case that doesn't work.
I am thinking of wet and dry 1200 and then some serious polishing

Wet and dry might work - give it a go with ScratchX after, then somethig Meguiars PlastX (fine plastic polish)...you could be in with a chance of salvaging it I think!

If not £50.00 inc delivery?

Dave
