Porsche Club Modern Registers Display Event
Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone Circuit
April 29th, 10:00am""4:00pm

With your support this could be one of the largest gatherings of modern Porsches in the UK. It is, principally, an opportunity to meet fellow Porsche owners and chat about what we enjoy most "" our cars.
You would be part of the experience that makes these events worthwhile. Modern Registers include Boxster, Cayman, 911 types 996 and 997 (including associated GT and Turbo), Cayenne and Panamera and water cooled Porsches from 1996 onwards. The aforementioned are the featured cars but all Porsches will be welcome. Please note that due to demand, parking on-track is reserved for the featured cars only.
By special invitation from Porsche Cars GB, this year's Modern event will be held at the spectacular Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone Circuit, and will include:
· A National debut for the new Boxster (type 981)
· Static displays of all modern Porsches from Boxsters through to Panamera
· On-track parking display of featured cars
· Club Shop and Porsche Design Drivers Selection
· Static displays of modern racing Porsches
· Catering for all tastes and budgets (you can even bring a picnic)
· Displays of the latest Porsches available in the UK
· A chance to view the superb Porsche Experience Centre facilities
Those who pre-book early will have the opportunity to participate in one of the following dynamic experiences:
· Catch a slide on the Kick Plate "" A moveable metal plate set flush with the road surface designed to be triggered remotely as the car travels over it, thereby generating the effect of a loss of rear wheel traction*
· Keep your cool on the Ice Hill "" simulating sheet ice with computer controlled water jets, this area allows drivers to explore general car control, as well as understanding the specific handling characteristics.
Experience the power of the Panamera on the low-grip circuit "" specially formulated tarmac creating an ideal environrment where over-steer slides can be provoked, corrected, and held**
· Marvel at the Cayenne abilities off-road - purpose built to include steep hillclimbs, decents and rough terrain. A challenging course to really test the Porsche Cayenne**
The Porsche Experience Centre is a very special facility for the Porsche enthusiast. Its architecture echoes Porsche design in functionality with exquisite detailing and is worthy of a visit in its own right.
Entry will be £10 per adult for Club members (£15 for non-members) and, to speed entry to Silverstone, pre-booking is strongly recommended. Phone 020 8875 8691 to book. Have your Driving Licence details at hand if you wish to take part in one of the driving events. As with all driving events, you will be required to produce your driving licence on the day. If you have a photocard licence, please ensure you also bring the paper section to be eligible to drive.
We strongly recommend pre-booking to ensure track parking on the day. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee track parking for featured cars that have not booked in advance.

Please note, the ticketing line for Boxster & Beyond will be open from Tuesday 21st February

I hope everyone has a great event this weekend, sorry I can't join you but the event sadly clashed with a previously booked register event.
Anyone wanting last minute tickets- I noticed there is some up for grabs in the Boxster forum area...[;)]
