Boxster and Beyond - Sunday 23 May

I was thinking about taking my 987 to this event this weekend at Silverstone but was just wondering, is the whole event just for Porsches? I found whilst Googling it there's some Japanese car event supposed to be held this Sunday at Silverstone - The JTS 2010. Or are these events in different places?

Tom

JTS is going on at Silverstone Circuit. Boxster Beyond is being held at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone - so different area.

Aaahh I see. So I was just getting confused. I'm quite looking forward to it, as it'll be my first Porsche event.

Oh heck - I wonder how many Porsche's are going to end up paying to go in to the event at the Circuit?

(Or how many Supra's with 10" exhausts get directed to the Porsche Centre!)

Ha ha! That's what I was thinking. I probably would have ended up going into the circuit to the Jap event, with burnouts, stupid flame-throwing exhausts chav'd to the max!

Been today and it was excellent. Well run, a lot to see and do especially in the Porsche Centre and a lot of chatty fellow boxster drivers.
All in all great weather and a great day.

very impresses with the Boxster display. there was too many to fit into one photo

We had a great day too. It was our first Porsche event. We found everyone so friendly and helpful. I just wish I'd booked early to have a go in the low firction Panamera or on the ice hill! Oh well, I'll know for next time to look out for one of these events.
