Does anyone have any info on the new Boster coupe (C7S). I have put in an order at Porsche Hatfield but they have no more information. Autocar ran a story that it will be approx £50k and will come out Sept 05.

Just got back for a trip to the Factory - the Boxster engine assembly line had a sign above it - 2.7l, 3.2l and 3.4l - go figure

[]Nic did you get to ask any RMS related questions whilst visiting the HQ?[;)]

Has anyone heard any more regarding the name. Is it really going to be called the Cayman and if so why. There seems to be historical or logical reason for this.

Paul.

Robert,

yes, I made myself a little unpopular by bringing this up over a superb dinner hosted by AG Club Coordination. I was told that they were aware of the investigation at Club GB, but Jutta would not say much more than this

This is a little dissapointing, there is'nt even a positive spin coming out of Porsche AG as yet[:(] You would have thought Jutta et al would have been briefed on a suitable speil by now telling us how after 8 years of production such problems have been addressed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Many of the boxster owners I know and a few 996 owners too have had either RMS or engine failure. Two Particular engine failures come to mind one a 996 at low miles and first year of ownership and the other a boxster three years old an 11k, not exactly starship miles is it. This is going to eventually seriously damage Porsches reputation. I am amazed at the lack of apparent response.
