Boxster dent removal...

Hi all,

I'm looking at buying a Boxster - have to give a commitment to the vendor by Wednesday. I've viewed it twice & it has the spec I'm looking for, in good (not garage queen) condition & at what I think is a very good price.

It needs a good de-swirl & polish - I've got a DA so happy to have a crack at getting this sorted. However there are 2 or 3 minor dents in the drivers side rear wing above & to the rear of the side vent. I know of a fairly competent paintless dent removal guy but can the underside of the rear wing be accessed from anywhere in order to 'massage' out the dents? I was thinking that maybe removing the rear light will give access, any thoughts??

Thanks n advance & happy new year!!

Yes remove the rear light cluster (held in by 4 nuts) should be able to get enough access via the opening.

You could also gain access through the engine air intake opening if it's closer, it's a bit of a fiddle to get the grill off but I had a small dent removed which was actually on the wheel arch this way.

I thought that there was some insulation above the air intake which prevents access?
