I have now spoken to my friend with the Boxster 550 Spyder
and sorry he not attending Althorp House event in August.
If your still after this model of car for the Boxster display maybe
speak with John Dunn who owns one but he also owns a 987
Boxster Spyder that maybe already in your display.
All the best and I'm sorry for not getting back sooner.
Yours sincerely Kevin.
Thanks for letting me know.
I have a 550 car for both days so that's no problem.

Tracy

I've added an extra Boxster to the connection can I have another sticker please.
Cheers,
Thank you so much to everyone who displayed their cars over the weekend. You did the Boxster register proud and it was magnificent to see every variant of the model shown over the course of the weekend.
Add to that, meeting so many great members and seeing that you have the same passion for your cars . It doesn't get better than that.
Here's to next year and a big thank you again.
Regards

I thought the new roof was certainly easier and not such a checklist of things to remember when using it but although the roof was quicker to remove and replace on the new Spyder I think that the old roof appears to be a lot sturdier. Also the boot opens electronically before lowering the roof but you have to remember to close it manually when the roof is back in place. An easy thing to forget.
Only time will tell.
