Boxster DVD

Apologies for what is a blatant commercial!

We were shooting a new Boxster film at the Eynsham event in August and interviewed several owners and (the shortly to be famous!) Register secretary Mark Bennett on life with the Boxster. The film is called "Porsche Boxster & Boxster S - introducing the world's favourite sporting roadster".
The programme is presented by myself, Peter Morgan, and was shot through the summer. We introduce the model types, discuss the major changes and most desirable choices. We talked to independent dealer and service specialists about their experiences with the Boxster and the key maintenance areas. There are tips on how to buy and what to look for when buying.
We've also been able to include some amazing archive footage from Porsche that was made to support the original launch of the Boxster back in 1996 (covering the heritage, conception, design and technical overview).
We receive production DVDs on 24 November. Price is £19.95 and run time is approx 70 minutes. Colour PAL and region format 0 (all regions). It will be on sale from the Club shop shortly after and definitely at the Dec 3 do. Alternatively it is available directly from ourselves at www.pmmbooks.com.
Any questions, I will be pleased to help.

Do we allow advertising on here? [;)]

I'm sure I talked gibberish (no change there then)
Rabbit in the headlights you might say...

I'm sure Peter has managed to edit something together though - and taken all the "um...." out! [:D]

Hi Mark
Um! let me think about that. You'll have a chance to see at the weekend
Peter
And no, you shouldn't allow ads on here....

Let's see how the reviews go [:D]

Got my copy this morning [:)]

Haven't had much chance to look yet - but several members appear on the "Extras" part of the disc[8D]
I appear not to have sound on DVD's on my laptop [&o] So I'll have to wait until I get home to find out what I was saying :ROFLMAO:

Looking good Peter - What to look for, old archive footage, test driver interviews, US TV Adverts (that we never get). Excellent [:)]

Finally got a good chance to sit down and watch this - What a great DVD!

Good advice in the Buyers Guide, and what a fantastic collection of archive films in the "Extras"!

Plus a guest appearance from Rick (in character) [;)] and many other owners (including a lovely young lady with the same surname as me - in case anyone wonders she's not my wife - honest!)

Who dubbed my voice though? I don't sound like that [:D] [;)]

Thanks Peter - a great job, and will be a recommendation to all those who call me up asking "what do I look for?"
