I have a pair of Michelin Pilot Sport 2 235 x 40 ZR18 N3s with 5.5 mm tread, otherwise perfect. Look like new from the side.
I am just replacing "all four" with the same (now N4) and I cannot bring myself to throw these away if someone really needs them. If you can collect and give me a drink, they are yours, but you need to be quick.
I hope these might be of help to someone.

N.B. I have spent a great deal of time researching the Mixing N rating tyres issue and I now understand the issue much better. My new tyres will be N4s and I have decided not to mix with my N3s. If you already have N3s that's good, if you wish to mix, that's your decision.
