Boxster half car cover recommendations?

Am about to take delivery of my 718S and have, in the past, used full covers for my cars, which have to stand outside in all weathers.
Have used ones from Specialised Covers in the past but they do not seem to make a half cover.
Wondering whether anyone has any recommendations for a cover just for the roof and glass?

I have phoned UK Custom Covers, who do half covers for 986 and 987, but they say that due to lack of demand they won't be producing one for the 718 for now.

I have posted separately re the sturdiness of the roof and have been reassured on this point but want this extra level of protection to keep off the heaviest rain/snow - should also be good to avoid window scraping after frost.

Thanks
David

I had a Cabrio Shield cover for my MG TF which was really good but as it was black it did fade slightly.
The rear end of the cover went underneath the boot leading edge, the sides had tabs with beading in that went into the door gaps (which prevent anyone from stealing the cover) and the front end went underneath the wiper arms and velcro straps went around the door mirrors.

However they do not seem to be manufacturing one for the 718 yet.

Thanks, it seems to be a quality item. I've asked them when one might be available for the 718.

Call Mandy at Club Shop, as I believe the Club partners (Hamilton Classic Covers) might do a ‘half cover’ for your car.
I bought a half cover for my 924S from them through the Club, which may do the trick for your 718?... worth a go [;)]

Hi David,
Have a look at the Cabrio Shield cover that I put up for sale a little while again.
regards

Pete
