Boxster hood cleaning

Hi
Can anyone recommend a local (within an hour from Witney if poss) service for cleaning, recolouring and waterproofing my Boxster hood please?

Buy some Renovo cleaner and reproofer. They do coloured kits. Very easy to do, and the water will bead like on polish.
 
But dont buy the spray proofer if will go everywhere unless you cover rest of the car. Buy the Brush on version.
 
If your going to reproof the hood don't buy the car packaged products. Best I have ever used is Fabsil Gold, meant for camping equipment. Very easy to use brush on two coats in different directions and gives superb results. Water will bead off just like your paintwork.

What I would say, if you use a colour agent, such as Renovo, yourself, make sure that the hood is clear of everything. By this I mean, previous products (soaps, cleaners, protectors etc) dirt, dust, mould etc, as I have seen so many examples of Renovo being used very well to recolour, but very badly, if there is an ounce of older product on there.

If you are intent on someone doing it for you, try Autofarm.

Paul, If you go down the DIY route (and it is really straightforward to do yourself), be aware there are two different types of Fabsil proofer. Make sure you use Fabsil Gold version as it has a longer life and is more water repellant than the normal Fabsil.

Thanks guys, but was hoping to have it done professionally. I tried doing the hood on my TVR myself, and finished up with it very patchy (even more so than the original factory finish.
 
In which case, I'd give Autofarm a call. If they wouldn't undertake it themselves, they have a detailing area and call people in. I'd happily take on waterproofing it with Fabsil Gold for you, I just wouldn't attempt to recolour it :)
