Boxster Insurance - Good Quote

My Boxster insurance is up for renewal shortly - anyone had a really good quote lately?

Thanks

John

We'll see what others say but I think it's too personal an issue with too many variables to put much store by which firms others have done well with.

My own approach is to use the meerkat (and another similar) website and use those quotes as a starting point to try the so called specialists that advertise in PP.

Good luck.

My own policy is up for renewal shortly, currently with Admiral (not multicar).

John,

I have found Saga to be competitive (over 50) on a limited annual mileage basis and customer services good, also you can pay quarterley at no extra charge.
Great trip BTW, whens the next one? - will need to start saving though.

John,

try ClassicLine as their quote for my C4S would have been cheaper parked off road in Cambs than it is garaged in Beds........ so i guess you would benefit from the postcode lottery[:D]

see you tomorrow at club night

John, I got a very competitive quote from Manning UK. Well-informed, efficient and friendly service from Lee Sargent.

Worth a try and they include track days too if you're interested.

I'll certainly be asking Classicline to quote for my Boxster next time.
Just insured the GT3 for £384, and they do do multicar insurance.

Just renewed my insurance for my 986 S which was £180 for the year on 3K per year with swiftcover. A good price I thought.

Hi Everyone and thanks for the replies.

I had two cars up for renewal. Boxster and 993 S.

First the Boxster - Renewal quote had jumped (not unusual) and was getting close to £400. Tried various ones from above all of which were cheaper and almost did the deal with Classicline over the phone - they were the fastest at giving me a quote over the phone, some ten minutes. The slowest taking almost one hour[] Classicline also immediately e mailed the quote (the only one to do so)

I then spoke to Edward from our Region and he had just renewed his Boxster insurance and said Chaucher were best cover and cheapest. He had found this by doing a compare the Market.

So I put my details into compare the Market. Cheapest quote was SAGA[] and then Chaucer. Now I must admit I would never go on a SAGA holiday but I might just go on the Insurance or with Chaucer. Just £233 and £235 respectively.

My 993 I was looking for Agreed valuation and found that with Classic Line so perhaps a note on the 993 forum would be in order.

Thanks again - My total bill for both cars has been just about been halved![:D]

Hi John
My 996C4S is with Classic Line and was the cheapest around but more importantly they gave me a classic policy on 5000 miles/annum agreed value on mine for a 2 year period the only one I could find on a 8 year old car[:D]
