Boxster Launch

Went to Guildford yesterday.

Must say the new car looks great externally.
Will be interested to hear if the 19" wheels trash the ride - suspect they might, but they do look good so I expect lots of punters will go for them.
Steering wheel looks a bit naff & as for intergrated cup holders[]

The free DVD was nice touch, but how cheesy is the commentary[:'(]

we were in Guildford last night too. "She who must be obeyed" has declared that my 03 S now looks "dated". Following Champagne I started negotiating the conservatory budget into a kitchen/boxster budget - here's hoping.....

John, I thought it looked better in the flesh (as it were) still undecided about the interior, test drive next week so I'll reconsider then, in the cold light of day and away from the champers.

Bill, I did too but every time I look at butt of my car it still says perfection!

I'm sure that technically it will be flawless and a real blast to drive.

JCB..

Know what you mean John, but what would you rather have Conservatory or Kitchen/Boxster upgrade (see earlier post in thread) or forget the house and get a GT3 hmmmm. She might not wear that one.....
By the way the carrera GT was the dogs and then I saw a MacMerc in Richmond Park this morning... Happy Daze

I'd settle for, and will probably go for, the kitchen/3.4 lump that will go in next year's GTS, via RUF or ROOCK. The current kitchen is falling apart!

You planning on following the Richard Knight upgrade approach via Roock?

Has he got his back yet?

This months Porsche Post - page 61...[8D]

(But I'm going to Ruf if I get mine done...)

Richard and Donna will be reunited with their car very soon.

As it it is a bit of a 'mare marrying the 3.6 to a Boxster the 3.4 would be my choice.

My timescale does allow me to see what the GTS ends up looking like.

As for Ruf or Roock £'s are the deciding factor - either way a nice little 'R' on the boot will suffice!

Just got back from Nottingham's OPC launch and am really impressed with the car can't wait to get behind the wheel early December.

Sat in a couple of cars and prefer the standard seats to the sports version which look great but my frame is a little on the large size to have a snug fit in them, the selection of cars on show allowed me to check out all the options I've spec'd BUT I couldn't find the engine in any of the cars on display must be well hidden!!

It's gonna be a long wait until March.........
