Please post if you are intending to join us for the final meeting this year celebrating the Boxster's 10 th Anniversary, as advertised in Porsche Post.

It would be nice to get an idea of numbers so that we can see if we can arrange a guided tour.

www.doningtoncollection.com gives details of the museum.

We will be meeting at 11 on the 21st (Saturday).

There is also a race meeting on on Sunday for anyone thinking of making a weekend of it - and here is a link to a 2 for 1 discount offer on admission [8D]

www.driversknow.co.uk/twoTickets

There is also a discount voucher for the museum - but this is for the Sunday as well [&:]

However we will be attempting to get a bunch of discount entry vouchers from the "local atractions" leaflets in nearby motorway service areas for Saturday [;)]

Mark

I am hoping to be there but will not be able to confirm until later in the week. Life is somewhat hectic at the moment and I need to engineer a free Saturday on the 21st. I'll let you know for definite as soon as I can.

Hope to see you next weekend.

Mark

Sorry to do this but I have not managed to free up Saturday so am unable to get up to Donington. I thought this might be the case - I'm very busy at the moment without much spare time. Hope to catch up with you in less hectic times.

Have a really good day - the museum looks stunning and I am sorry to be missing it.

Once again, my apologies.

Hi Flint,

Well, I'm not sure how many "Everyone" will be - we are not overdone with replies here are we?! [&o]

However, Claire and I will certainly still be there - the collection looks to have enough in it to keep us occupied all afternoon [:)]

By the way, it appears (from the website) that the on-site resturant/cafe is closed at the moment. So if anyone is coming then it might be an idea to bring a snack!

^^ Bump ^^ to remind people this is tomorrow [8D]

This is the last register meeting of our 10 year Anniversary Year. It would be great to see lots of Boxsters and owners there! [:)]

Elsa and I will be there. If the museum cafe is closed there are plenty of nice village pubs to meet for lunch - we had our wedding reception in one of them many years ago!

Did you manage to get any discount vouchers, Mark?

Brian,

See you there!

We have some discount vouchers - we picked them up at a nearby otorway service area! They allow 2 for the price of 1.
I'm hoping they will accept these if we pay in 2's rather than the smaller discount they give for groups [&:]

We've only got a few though - so if anyone stops on the way and gets any more - great! (We'll try and get some more too [;)])

As they have no cafe at the moment, presumably our tickets will let us back in if we go for lunch - I don't think I will have seen everything by the time we get hungry [:D]

Mark,
Haven't been able to reply before as my laptop has been 'non-compliant'. Mick and I will be there on Saturday morning. See you at 11am. Sue

might pop along to say hi , not got a Boxster at the moment but i only live 5 mins drive away so it would seem rude not to. won't be join you around the museum though

Thank you Mark for organising a great day out. The Donington GP Collection is wonderful, we enjoyed convivial company and a good lunch, and the top-down weather enhanced our run home.

For us the star of the show was not a racer, but the fabulous Bugatti Royale.

Glad you enjoyed it Brian.

It was a nice visit - and I need to go again as I didn't really take it all in [:)] There's so much to see [:)]

There was a great days racing the next day as well - if a little wet! (ok, VERY wet [:D])
