I've received the following request from 911 & Porsche World:

Hi Mark,

My name is Steve Bennett and I'm the new Editor of 911 & Porsche
World magazine.

In the May issue we have a supplement celebrating 10 years of the
Boxster, The main part of this will be a buyers guide which will
involve a studio photo shoot. Unfortunately the dealer that was
supplying the car has let us down (no names etc).

The upshot is that we have a studio booked in Norwich on Saturday Mar
18 in the afternoon with a photographer standing by and no car
(although we do have a shoot taking place in the morning for a 928
buyers guide).

Could you circulate a request around the register? Perhaps you know
someone in East Anglia? Anyone pitching in will, of course, receive a
full selection of professional quality pics and a studio pic of
themselves with the their pride and joy.

We're not looking for a current model but a lateish first series car
- either a 2.7 or a 3.2 preferably in a strong colour but not black.

Hopefully you can help us out.

Thanks for your time and looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Steve Bennett,
Editor 911 & Porsche World

So my car is the right year - but the wrong colour!

Can anyone interested please PM me (use the email link under my name) - thanks!

Mark

No one's contacted me yet!

Come on folks - have your car professionally photographed - set of prints. All for the cost of a Saturday PM?

I can get a Zenith Blue 1999 2.5 if that's any good, based in Norwich....

Email me the contact details of the person and I'll forward to Steve.

Thanks! [:)]

Poor old David couldn't be contacted in time (before the Editor disappeared off out of the country) [&o]

So - change of plan, Liz Myers' car will be used instead. Thanks Liz - much appreciated [:)]

(I should have posted this update days ago. Apologies...)[8|]

Just a quick thank you for having the opportunity to go along to this, absolutely fantastic day and fascinating to see how the lighting works with these shoots.
Here are some pictures - which I took, so can't see any real problem. But Mark, please remove them if Steve would rather they are not on here.

Still confused as to what it is, newletter or something - you can tell that I am new around on this forum. Hi all by the way!! [:D]

It's the Club Magazine Liz - It must be well over 100 pages of top-quality glossy magazine a month... And it is the Porsche Club Great Britain's club magazine.

It's fantastic and worth the membership fee alone!

Sorry - I assumed all along you were a member! [:D] (most people with "non-member" under their name really are members! they just haven't followed the instructions in my signature...

If you email me your address I'll get a copy sent to you - you might like it and decide to join[:)]
Either way you are welcome to hang out and post here.

Thanks for clearing that up - I think that I will probably join anyway, you seem to do alot of track days which I could be interested in in the future - email sent with address!
