boxster newbie in Edinburgh

I'm just about to take delivery of an 03 boxster from Sytner in Edinburgh - 03, midnight blue, blue hood, grahite leather interior with 18" carrera alloys - 4500 miles on the clock. Seems in pristine condition but I'm a wee bit nervous about the whole thing (too much time to think about the worst while I wait for it) and I'm curious to see if any of you Edinburgh Boxster owners might know of the car in question, given that there aren't very many Boxsters about, (as far as I can see).

Welcome to the world of Porsche. There are a lot of owners in the central belt why not join fellow owners of Porsches at the Callander Classics on 28/29 Aug I have a ticket available and it is only £6 so if you fancy meeting like minded people come along ,or pop along to Sytner track day on Sat 21st at Knockhill Iam the Regional Organiser for PCGB this is the best way to meet owners ,in fact 6 Boxsters meet up in South Queensferry on Sunday. In answer to to your question I do not know the previous owner but I am sure Sytner would have given you this info if asked before you bought it ..no worries you will have a good warranty Hope to hear from you Contact 013552 33482

cheers

Thanks Brian, but 2 young kiddies mean arranging anything that leaves my wife coping with them on her own is a wee bit of a problem and wouldn't improve her opinion of my recent purchase any. I'll keep an eye on the site and maybe tag along at some point but the next few months are a bit too busy, thanks anyway.

Excuses .. bring the good lady along ,there are other girls going ,seriously pop along to our Edinburgh night meet at the Crammond Brig Hotel on Thursday 2 nd Sept at 8 pm and meet fellow Porsche owners

The missus and our youngest can't be seperated for very long at the moment so we won't be going anywhere together without the kiddies, at least not for a while but since I only get the car on the 1st and probably won't get out of it for at least a week I might be tempted to turn up on the 2nd at Crammond as I zoom about the countryside, although I'll probably have to be forcibly removed from the car.

thanks
