Boxster Original Spec Wheels

My recently purchased 2011 61 Boxster 987.2 came with the added (optional)Carrera 2 19” wheels. ( see photo). However, I would like to replace them with the original spec 18”. Can anyone advise with photos if possible, what these alloys would have been? I have also posted an advert asking for possible exchange of my 19” for 18”. My 19” come with Goodyear Eagle F1 in top condition.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS POST IS NO LONGER CURRENT.

Thanks for the post Richard have copied it for my files mine being a 13 plate 981 ..as to wheels mine has the 20inch Carrera S fitted, black gloss but has the silver edge to the rim only ever seen this on a Spyder or Cayman R with 19inch wheels .

TT out of choice if you are changing would go for the 5 spoke 18inch far easier to clean

I’ve just realised this is a US brochure for a 981. So still looking for the original 2011 UK 987.2 standard 18” wheel?

Tony,

This is from a 987.2 Cayman sales booklet (08/2008) but it shows the 17” Boxster and 18” Boxster S wheels.

Hope you get lucky trying to source the original 18”wheels.

Jeff
