Boxster Racing in the Club Championship 2013

The 2013 race season is just about to kick off and it looks like we will be 1 Boxster down on the original 5 from last season as Lee Atkins is not entering.

Class 1 has Steve Cheetham out again in his 3.2 and Porsche engine rebuild specialist "Hartech" are back with their two 3.2 Boxster`s.

Class 2 again has only 1 Boxster and due to regulation changes I have upgraded my 2.5 to a 2.7 which should reduce the torque advantage that the 3 litre engines have in my class.
Hartech upgraded my engine and I am excited and proud to be part of the "Hartech Racing Team", we are a four car team of 3 Boxster's and a 996 driven by Gary Marsh (A need for speed) with Marcus Carniel and Tom Bradshaw in the other 2 Boxster's.
The drivers are backed up by a dedicated team of technician's and of course not forgetting Baz.

The class 1 Boxster will be up against the 996, the newly introduced Cayman 3.4 and the Paragon 964 cars.

Class 2 has only three Porsche models and they include 8, 944 S2 cars, 8 of the 968 models and my sole Boxster 2.7.

Just a few weeks ago it was announced that we will be racing on slicks with new tyre sponsor Pirelli, this was a bit late in the day as changes in set up had to be made and the recent weather has put paid to any more testing.

The first race is April 6 and will be live on Motors TV. Its sure to be a fun season and I will try and keep you up to date with events.
