Boxster Register

I provided all my vehicle details to PCGB HQ but haven't received any response as to being on the Boxster Register - and no sticker either. This was all done over a month ago. Should this be the case? Is the Boxster Register dormant?

The Club office send out all new Register member's details once a month. Then what I do is send out a welcome letter and sticker, but it might have to wait until I have a free evening as it can be quite a big job and the Boxster Register is growing faster than all the other Registers. I guess that, depending when in the month you join and the workload at the time, it could easily take up to a month or even a bit longer if the RS is on holiday or busy at work for instance. If it's not come through soon just drop an e-mail to Mark.

didn't know there was one that was boxster specific?
Hi Jamie, The Boxster Register is the biggest of all, having the benefit that they still make them so new members are joining all the time! A full list of the different Registers, with contact details, is in the Porschefile or Porsche Post and on the website.

I've been a member of PCGB for nearly 2 years- (and a member of the Boxster register) and I've never had a sticker or welcome letter !

I don't know what the Boxster Register does, only what I do for the 944 Register! With prices so low it might be worth buying a 944 just for the sticker.....[]

I've also been a member of both the club and register for the past 10 months, I also have recieved no communication or sticker, surely it's good free adevrtising for the Club. Tommo

Me too. I thought I gave details when I signed up but have never heard a word regarding the Boxster register nor had a sticker.

Where's Mark? I am sure that he will respond to your concerns.

Mark is in, America due back soon when no doubt he will make his presence felt on the forum!

Its now exactly three months on since I started this thread and still nothing about being on the Boxster register and no sticker.

Sounds like you're sulking Spyderman! I too would like to go on the register, but the weblink into the Boxster register is completely empty! All the others seem fine, I have copied the link below for reference: [link=http://www.porscheclubgb.com/boxster/default.aspx]http://www.porscheclubgb.com/boxster/default.aspx[/link] How am I supposed to get on to the register? In fact I have been a member now for 3 months and have received no communications from anyone with the exception of my initial membership pack and subsequent Porsche Posts. I would've thought that someone from my region or Boxster register would've been in touch, but hey ho! Cheers!

Guys, if you have informed the club that you have a Boxster, then you are on the register. Sorry about stickers. I was given 100 of the new shape ones. Not nearly enough to go around so I've been giving them out at events. No not good enough. Sorry. I've been doing a really bad job in this regard[&o]. If you PM me your addresses I'll get one off to each of you.

I find that the PCGB Website is not easy to navigate. You mention 'if you have informed the club' where does one find where one can do this? How does one find how to subscribe to a Register. It would appear to me that it would only be common sense to include information in the register section, but perhaps this is too simplistic.

No problem [:)] When you joined the Club, you filled in the details of any Porsche you own, if that is your Boxster then you are automatically in the Register. If you have changed cars you are supposed to inform the club (call head office) and they will update the details. You used to be able to update your details on the Club Website, but I can't find it on the new version either [&:] (I have to agree I find it difficult to navigate as well [&o]) You don't need to "subscribe" as long as you are a member, and the Club knows you have a Boxster, you are on the Register [:)]

Thanks Mark, I've now got a new Boxster and added a 944S2 Cab. Never had any stickers though! The only one I have is a 964 which I designed some years ogo

How about some photos for the gallery section of the Boxster register? Seems a shame that its empty. You're welcome to copy some from [link=http://picasaweb.google.com/R10spyderman/BoxsterInWoburn]here[/link]
