I have a 2005 car (that allows opening of roof under way) Recently when I opened latch on windscreen rail I got only intermittent contact ie windows would not drop and hood would not fold. Most recently hood has got stuck down in folded position. This strikes me as 2 different switch systems or is there a common link that would explain. Any ideas very welcome

Have a look where the latch is at the top centre of the screen - there is a microswitch in there that is a common cause of such things. A poke with a finger sometimes sorts it - or you can get in and take a look if it still fails to operate.

Mark Would this switch "malfunctioing" allso cause windows not to close automatically when roof is fully closed. Mine stay down 2"-3". Barry
