Great shot for a Porsche advert as the car colour matches the building [:D]

Great looking Boxster & I wish you as many happy miles motoring as I have had in my past 11 years - 5 examples
Summer 2008 can't be too far away now [8D]

Someone has already started a register on Rennlist (http://forums.rennlist.com/). I couldn't copy the whole link but if you search for RS 60 in the 987 forum you will find it. The entries are mainly US cars with one or two others from UK and Sweden. I'm not sure how many cars were sold in which countries. Porsche AG would probably be able to tell you that or Porsche GB for UK sold cars.

I have #1930 - GT silver with full grey leather plus various goodies such as sport chrono plus, Bose, 6 CD player, litronics, park assist, short shift, cruise, crested centre caps and one or two bits I've probably forgotten. It's just back from a snowy and salty weekend in the Lake District, hosed and washed in the dark last night and back in the garage on its battery conditioner!

Thanks for that lead Ian. What I realy want is factory source data so I think your suggestion to contact Stuttgart is the best solution. I'll persue that.

Our cars are very similar in spec., 'though mine hasn't the Chrono package but in addition has the hardtop (black to match the windscreen surrounds which looked odd at first) and the red leather. I love this trim colour and it was the major reason I bought it. However I suspect cars with this colour trim don't sell as fast as those with the grey leather. Have you any opinions on this? Whatever, it won't matter to me because I bought it to keep for a long time just to use on long holidays in Europe this year. However, my last tour of this year was to Bordeaux and the races at Angouleme and I finished up taking the Estate so I could bring wine back. The RS 60 therefore hasn't done many miles or even been out in the wet yet and probably won't get used until I follow the Mille Miglia in May 2011. Nonetheless I adore it!

I'll keep in touch and let you know the results of my research.

We looked at several RS60s with red interior but decided that everything being red was just too much for us. We also looked at a couple with grey interiors and bought this one because of the spec and the mileage (even now it has only done 5k miles in 22 months).

Whether grey interior sells quicker than red is debatable. I suppose it's down to personal taste, availability and ultimately the deal that the salesman can put together. Some cars seem to sell quickly, others not regardless of their interior colour.

Like yours ours hadn't 'done' wet weather but we bought it to use, hence the trip to the Lakes last weekend. It will become a second (rather than third) car eventually. At least that was the plan when we bought it, and given that I sold my 911 C2S to buy it, the plan had better work out!

Thanks for the introduction to Rennlist. I've now transposed their stuff into Excel so it's easier to indentify specs. and countries of location. There's now about 35 cars identified 'though yours (the second highest number) is not on the list Do you want it adding and do you want a copy of the spreadsheet?
