So i'm just about to put my pen to paper but before i do can people share there costs on servicing and the usual repair bills you can incure in owning a boxster

For Porsche Fixed Price Servicing check on their website for Boxster Servicing.

Brake Fluid change was, if I remember right, about £150, similar price for spark plug change every 4 years.

Depending on which year of Boxster servicing is annual/bi-annual with major service every other one. Check for items not included in service and if you're keeping to OPC servicing get anything not to be recorded either done at OPC or a good specialist quite a few around when you look for them.

Does get expensive especially at major service time. Just changed all 4 tyres on a 2008 S Sport Edition (19" wheels) which cost £975 after shopping around and using Black Circles. Had a 4 year major service too at a local specialist. With air con, brake fluid and new drive belt plus MOT it came to £975 too, bizarrely. I was also told the brakes need changing all round soon - they've quoted £1080 and I'm waiting to see what the OPC quote too (they were not even remotely competitive for servicing). Add in an after market warranty at approx £700 pa and you can see it won't be a cheap year! However, rear tyres and warranty aside, I'd hope not to have any more expenses bar fuel for the next 2 years.

Has anyone used Elite motors in belverdere kent for servicing? I used Porsche East London for my last service back in March 2011. The small service and plug change came to £564-00 inc vat. I would hate to see what the major service would cost. Incidently my car is a 3.2S with 33,000 mls with full POC servicing 0n a 2002 car.
Regards,
Martin
